Scotty, my 2010 285K Sonata's steering wheel will wobble sometimes. It happens more on hot days at any speed, in any gear including neutral and it isn't affected when I hit the brakes. It goes on for a few minutes then goes away. At stop lights the brakes grab and it feels like a warped rotor. I have to hit the brakes for it to start occurring. The brakes are grabbing as I pull away. 99% of the time the ride and brakes are smooth.

The electric power steering is messed up. Apparently it's a common problem. Hyundais are horribly made.
Doesn't a 2010 Sonata have hydraulic power steering?
I don't know.
A friend used to have a 2006 Sonata which is the same generation as the 2010. It had hydraulic power steering. (They also weren't made as badly back then as in more recent years.) The 2011 Sonata started a new generation and it looks like they moved to electric power steering at that time.
Power steering is hydraulic. I found the problem, I think. I had done a complete brake job last time. Rotors, Calipers and pads. They had half the pad still left. Any way after driving home from work it was happening again. I noticed the left front rotor running hot. I ordered a new caliper from Rock Auto and when I went to replace it I found the stainless-steel parts were very dirty. I cleaned them up good and put on the new caliper and cleaned the right-side hardware too.
I was thinking something wasn't releasing and was hoping it wasn't the anti-lock system somehow messing up. Anyway the problem hasn't occurred again in 3 days. I think it was just the dirt on the hardware, the pads didn't want to move. Don't think I'll use these again.
