I have a 2010 Subaru legacy with 133,000 MI. If I have to make a hard sudden stop, the RPM's drop and the car stalls. There is a little bit of shuddering when the RPMs drop, but the car starts right up. I cleaned the mass air flow sensor, replaced the air filter. It has a CVT transmission.

Clean the throttle body as well.
