I replaced 2/3 non servicable u joints on a r33 94 skyline type m coupe with 70k miles.
Now it seems to be out of balance.
What would you do? I dropped it off far away to a driveline shop with a coetz se200 high speed balancer right now praying.
That is the issue with those kind of cars: parts are extremely hard to find and very expensive.
Your only option would be to find a specialty shop that can source one from a donor car, or you can do it yourself. Either way, $$$$$.
Mod_Man has the answer. Get a junk yard part and have new u joints and get it balanced, or get a custom made one from a specialty shop. Big $$$$. Or just keep praying.
Any good driveline shop can make and balance a replacement driveshaft. I've had it done a few times over the years.
Look for JDM resellers. If anyone has a possibility of having a car similar to yours or parts for your car, it is these guys.
The answer is getting a new half shaft or full shaft built by a manufacturer who makes Z shafts from scratch
There is no junkyards for a skyline, no used driveshaft for sale even on ebay for a 93-95 model.
I also don't trust one piece shafts cause they do not offer the same stability as a 2 piece shaft.
drivetraincenter.info has the shaft.
I didn't touch the diff side half shaft and center bearing when I messed it up, only changed U joints at the front shaft.
