Why is My 2013 Honda Pilot a slug off the line?

This appears to an extreme problem with Gen2 Pilots. Problem is the worst when the AC is on AND when the ambient temp is high with a high dewpoint. When the air is cool with a high dewpoint it is OK. Problem is nonexistent in fall & Winter. This issue is driving everyone nuts that has one. Clean throttle body, egr etc. Nobody can figure it out. Off the line its super slow, until 10mph/2000rpmish and then the car takes off like a rocket. All of the obvious fixes/checks were done.

Start with the basic things. Spark plugs air filter DTC now Hondas and notorious are needing their valves adjusted. It is a royal pain in the butt adjusting those cells, but they need to be adjusted with that kind of mileage that can cost all the problems in the world. Ask can carbon build up in the engine. You might have the engine carbon cleaned by a mechanic who has a power carbon cleaning machine. I would start there
