Hello Scotty love the channel! I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla that makes a grinding noise on cold starts. Any ideas what this could be? It only happens during cold starts.
My ex wife had a 2007 toyota Corolla. It would make a similar "grinding" on cold starts. Bought car with 150k sold with 243k making the same noise. As I understand it has something to do with timing gears. A guy at work started his car up and it had the same noise. I walked over and sure enough his newer model toyota corolla made the same noise. It could be many things but it never caused a problem for me just made me nervous.
