Hello,
I am looking to purchase a car and Honda is what comes to mind when I think of reliability and some element of "sportiness" as I'm heavy footed.
I want to either purchase a 2010 civic (or any year around there that you could recommend if it's better) to drive around for a while until I can save more money or to go "all in" and purchase the 2016 civic ex (non-turbo).
I plan on driving either vehicle until the end of it's lifespan. What I'm thinking about is which vehicle is more reliable because the 2010 has a conventional automatic whereas the 2016 has a CVT. Also, if there is anything else you know to watch out for, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Definitely the 2010 your going to get a better deal and CVT's in general are crap even though Honda and Toyota make better CVT's. If you can drive a manual and find out get it over the Automatic because that will be how you can drive the car till the wheels fall off. Since your looking for a new car check out http://www.Autotempest.com to find the honda for you.
