The vehicle has 238K miles on it.  Pulled coded and it had two. P0843 (Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch A [Second Clutch] Circuit High), and P0752 (Shift Solenoid Valve A Stuck on).  Replaced both parts.  I no longer have codes, but I still have the same shift issue.  I did a test on the linear solenoids (A, B, and C) and the scanner told me there was a malfunction with two of them.  My guess is there is possible clogging in the filter screen. The transmission fluid that came out when I did the shift solenoid was in excellent shape considering the mileage on the vehicle. No metal shavings, no clutch material, and the fluid didn't smell burned at all.

My question is:  Do you think cleaning the screens/replacing the linear solenoids may fix this problem, or am I just chasing ghosts at this point, and it's time to change the transmission?

Thanks for any and all of your help.

Well, it would be an interesting experiment to try all that and it might fix it. Just realize with that kind of mileage that transmission is probably on its last legs anyway and then something else will break
