Hopped in the vehicle and noticed the check engine light was on. I plugged in my scan tool and i got this code. says something about B Camshaft position timing over-advanced or system performance bank 1. did not take it for a drive to see if the vehicle was running rich or lean. The more info function on the scan tool says something about an oil solenoid circuit stuck open or shorted out. Any further help? i dont know where to look.

You may have to test some of the components in the VCT (variable camshaft timing) system, which would require a high level scan tool with bidirectional ability. If you don’t have and/or not comfortable using, you’d have to have your mechanic look at it.
