You could get a Silverado like that cheaper private party. Drive time charges a premium because they work with credit challenged buyers.

I wouldn't buy it myself.

I think I've never heard anything really good about newer GM. I haven't owned one, or worked on one in awhile..I used to like the newer malibu and impalas, when they came out..

Ok it’s also from drivetime dealerships

I think that's too much money. If you do end up getting it, make sure you delete AFM if it has it.

See the FAQ for vehicle buying research.

I see, so $15.7k is the sticker price. Do your research (Craiglist etc.) to see what other trucks from that year are selling for (actually selling. not asking price). That way you won't get ripped off. Then you have to haggle. Have fun.

My bro bought a 2014 new. He disabled the AFM, and the truck has been very reliable.

I would pass.  GM quality not what it used to be.  Besides electronic issues, those Vortec engines had cylinder deactivation (AFM) and all the associated complexity, and those systems had issues (collapsed lifters for example) that even today are not fully resolved.  Even with AFM disable or delete, if longevity is your priority I would look elsewhere.

WHAT about a 2010 GMC Sierra 1500 Extended Cab SL 6.5 ft $15,095 103,010

Sierra = Silverado with different badge and grill

OK

Pass.  GM is known for horrible quality, even back in 2011.  You would be better off with a V8 Ford or Tundra.
