[Solved] '11 Hyundai Elantra recommended maintenance at 60K miles?

I currently drive a 2011 Hyundai Elantra that I bought brand new, and it has about 60,900 miles on it so far.  The car gets to the dealer for oil changes about every 5,000 miles.  I drive slow and baby the transmission like a lil' old lady schoolteacher, because I'm a lil' old lady schoolteacher.  Ha!  Do any of you have recommendations as to what kind of maintenance I should have done to this vehicle to extend it's life?  I feel like perhaps I should be getting things checked out at 60K miles.  It's been running smoothly, but the original battery conked out on me finally last year (at the most inopportune moment of course), and I've only had to replace some head/tail-lights.

Thank you very much! 🙂

I would just follow what is in the owner’s manual.  Kudos to getting the oil changed every 5,000 miles.  Also, make sure the transmission oil fluid is always clean and don’t neglect changing ( https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/qa/atf/).

Also, see here for basic maintenance recommendations:

I have not changed the transmission oil at all since I bought the car, so it most likely needs to be changed.  I'm headed out to check the manual and the transmission oil dipstick right meow!

Timing belt will need to be changed, between 60 and 90k miles.. and yes, I'd change that transmission fluid
