This the second time the car battery light come on the mechanic changed the alternator 6 months passed by then it came back on while I was driving could it be an electric problem or serpentine belt it has a new battery too.

Did you use a good quality alternator?
If you did, check all the wiring & fuses.

make sure all the cables and terminals are clean and tight.

Nope used the cheapest one and I've never changed the belt over 100000 miles haha
when it comes to alternators, you get what you pay for
True that barley learning like autozone cheap car parts haha
