I know the newer Nissan Altimas have a load of issues. Not sure if these old 2004s were better made. Any input would help!
I would not for a daily driver but for a second or third car why not.
What is your goal with this car? I.e. how many miles are you hoping to get out of it? Daily driver or knock around car?

I need it to take me from San Francisco CA to Dallas TX and be a daily driver around Dallas
200k miles and you want to use as daily driver, I would pass on it, esp. since you have to make that long distance trip back. It’s on burrowed time!
Buy a car once you get Dallas, the airlines will be faster and more economical to travel fromSan Francisco to Dallas. As an added bonus I’m sure the taxes in Texas are lower on cars than they are in California.

it costs 1000 dollars for a running driving car, price is good but it might just fall apart.
This should have the 4 speed Automatic. If it looks really well cared for ya might get another 20k out of it.
