2011 Ford Escape: Both Brake Lights Work, But Only One Tail Light Works

Hello. I have a 2011 ford escape with 140,000 miles on it. Both of the brake lights work, but only one of the tail lights come on. If it matters, it's the rear right one that doesn't work. I changed the bulb hoping it was just that, but it did not work. I also inspected the fuses, but found nothing wrong there as well. I figured I would take a look at the socket and inspect the wiring next. Does anyone have any experience with this or tips? Thank you

If you have a multimeter, set it to Volts DC, and turn the lights on. Put the positive lead in the socket, touch anything metal the body with the negative lead and see if you get a reading. If not, you may have a wiring or computer issue. Swap the known good bulb into the problematic housing and see if it works. It might just be bad bulbs.
