I have a 2011 Honda Pilot with 167,000 miles on it. The suv is automatic and currently showing no codes. The suv runs perfect on the Hwy. However terrible in stop and go traffic. In short this is what I have noticed.
Once the suv has been driven for a few minutes. If I had to guess I would say about 15 min.
the suv dies while at a stop sign or light.
the RPMs drop under 500 and it dies, however suv will not die if it is in park or neutral.

Have you checked the air filter? How about cleaning the MAF sensor?
Air filter and MAF senser have been replaced
Make sure you use OEM part for MAF sensor. Also Check the ICV, if it checks out, then check the torque converter.
Is the alternator charging? Battery good?
Check fuel pump pressure or clogged injectors.
