Scotty,

I was replacing my control arm and the CV axle popped out and lost some CVT fluid, I went to check the dipstick but no stick.  How woudl I know hpw much fluid to add to top up.

What is the big secret about the Chrysler CVT, no dip stick, no volume in the owners manual.  Very little online details.  Should these be serviced with > 100000 miles?

I am planning to buy all new fluid from the dealershipand do a drain and refill with new filter.

Your owner’s manual recommends -

1. For severe usage

2. For normal usage -

However, being a JATCO CVT, Scotty recommends changing the fluid & filter every 30,000 miles.

The claimed quantity is 7 litres -
