I bought a 2011 Kia Optima (2.4L) the car was religiously serviced at a dealer ship after buy it and calling them they told me they used a semi synthetic oil supplied by Kia but upon looking for one I can find any thing, do I mix oils? Or should I just go with a full synthetic mobile 1 5w20?

Just so you know, there is lot of misunderstanding about so called synthetic oils. Some definitions:
- Full synthetic (API Type III) is highly refined petroleum base with synthetic additives.
- 100% synthetic (API Type IV) is formulated with a synthetic base and synthetic additives.
- Synthetic blend oil is a mix of conventional motor oils and synthetic base stocks.
Just go to the API website to see all the types, specifications and definitions.
