Hi Scotty, I purchased a 2011 Kia Soul about 4 years ago with about 89,000 miles on it, and about every 6 months, I've had to replace a coil.
So far, I've replaced all 4 coils.
Granted, I have about 160,000 miles on it now, but it seems that coils should last at least 200k.
The first time I purchased a coil from Kia it was over a hundred bucks, but thankfully, the subsequent coils were purchased from
the internet for next to nothing.
Have you heard much about this being a problem with kia souls, or any other kia?
Thankfully, it's a 5 minute job with a 10mm socket and a pair of gloves.

It is a problem with all kias they are cheaply made
