I have a 2011 Mazda 2 and my radio will not work. The clock and stations appear, but no sound comes out of any of the speakers. I can even change the volume, but still no sound. CD’s do not work either. I’ve checked the fuses and they are fine. Just changed the antenna a couple weeks ago, so that isn’t the issue either. Is this a speaker issue or a radio itself? Do I need a new radio or is there a simpler solution to this problem?
it's unlikely that all the speakers blew at once. More likely the stereo is just fried. But check the wiring and connector on the back just to be sure.
i really dont know, had a Ford truck once that would do that, sound would just stop, could turn it off for a little while and it would come back to life, i believe that it was a loose speaker wire in the rear door that would short out (just spit balling) good luck
