2011 Mazda3 Maintenance

Topic starter

I own a 2011 Mazda3 sedan with almost 117,000 miles. My vehicle was manufactured in Japan so I take even further exceptional care as I want to see this vehicle give me another 10 years of service. All tires, brakes, battery are all new and I regularly change the oil which is fully synthetic. At the 117,000 miles mark any tips or recommended maintenance? My Mazada purrs like a kitten and I am the sole owner. Thanks Scotty!

Just make sure you're caught up on the scheduled maintenance. The one that's a little unique on your Mazda3 is, "tighten bolts and nuts on chassis and body every 30,000 miles".

I also think they're being a little too liberal on the oil change interval. Then again, I still do my oil changes every 3,000 miles. I guess since you're using synthetic you could extend that to every 5,000 miles. I would never stretch it to 7,500 miles.

Change the automatic transmission fluid is very important which is not mentioned in most car manuals.
