- I was headed out of town and my van overheated. I took it to a shop and they said the radiator has a leak and a head gasket is breached. He said " I could just replace the radiator but it may blow the head gasket or it could be fine...its 50/50". I'm stuck on what to do. Please help.

If it is overheated, besides the radiator, you should also change the thermostat and temperature sending unit. About the head gasket, I would not gamble on it, change the head gasket.

There is a cheap test to determine if a head gasket is leaking. If it is not leaking, don't replace it.
