2011 Nissan Murano SV. 100k miles.
I had consistent MAF sensor codes tripping and kept cleaning it, but the code kept returning.
After a few months, the AC went out which I was going to wait to repair.
Then, without brake noise warnings, the brakes began grinding.
I took the Murano to a well rated shop (that I had not used - I moved to a new location). They replaced the MAF sensor, AC, brakes, and rotors.
This is not our daily car, but since the repairs, there is a vibration/slight grinding felt in the pedals (no vibration in the wheel) and a bit in the floorboard. I think, but I'm not sure, that the mpg has went down too. Were the brakes installed improperly?
Finally, the AC doesn't seem to cool as well as before. I have to keep it at 60 (lowest setting) to get good cooling.
Any thoughts about what might be wrong, or maybe I'm just being paranoid (I assure you it is a different feeling car now though). Maybe I should make an appointment with Scotty, since I'm about an hour from Clarksville, TN.
Thanks in advance.
To set up an appointment with Scotty, email him - scottykilmer@gmail.com with appointment as the subject. All the best!
Check the brake pads. For the AC issue, take the car to a mechanic to check it out.
