I was looking at a used Camry and I noticed that the front and rear tires are two different kinds and the rear wheel hub (I think that's the part) is very rusty. Driver side mirror also has issues and semi works as it can move in, up, down but not out and it sometimes sticks. Is the wheel hub an expensive fix? I am not sure how long the wheel hubs will last rusted but I plan on ordering the part online to get a better price and just paying a mechanic. What's a fair amount of clocked hours for that job? Fair price for that part? The dealer is asking $7500 Canadian for it plus doc and taxes, but will sell it for $6000 with my trade in (an old Benz car). What is a fair price considering the seen issues before a mechanic looks at it
Bump.
Can you post some pictures of the rusted bits?
Hubs don't cost that much if you go aftermarket but I know everything is expensive in Canada and you got to pay more the dealers always want too much money for their cars in any country I'd never buy a car to dealer but if you can't find one somewhere else well they're not going to come down what you doing dealers
