Saw a 2011 Prius for sale, looks clean, 1 owner, 189k mi, asking $4950. Is it worth looking into? TIA
The battery is the heart of the Prius, so try to get the battery condition evaluated. Then find out what a new battery costs, and sometimes you can find reconditioned batteries so get those prices as well.
With battery condition out of the way, take it to a dealer and get a vehicle inspection performed for everything else. Then you might have enough information to make a decision ?

Bump. Any advice as to whether I should look into the 2011 Prius will be greatly appreciated.
Prius's are good and the 2011 year is arguably the best bang for buck year.But 189k miles is WAY too much. Dont get any hybrid with more than 100k bc of the battery and alternator. I would pay 2 or 3k more and get a low mileage one.
