What are your thoughts on buying a used 2011 VOLVO xc90 R design 3.2 liter inline 6 with 120 k miles are they reliable?should I buy ?

Well they are relatively reliable. Vehicles have taken care of. But they also very high tech. So you got to make sure you find a guy like me to check it out in person before you buy
1) Why is the previous owner selling it? It has a flaw... find it.
2) Like @scottykilmer says, get an inspection from someone who knows Volvo. But even if it passes, at that age and miles things are going to need work sooner rather than later. It might be OK for a while, but definitely has "EMP"* potential. Don't buy it unless you have enough $ left over to save for repairs.
