Engine light came on yesterday, hooked up to the code reader, P0327 knock sensor
poor highway acceleration & gas
mileage. Where is the knock sensor located on a 2011 VW Golf 2.5L automatic
54k miles. Thanks

that's stupid Volkswagen has two knock sensors both of which are under the intake manifold which needs to be removed to work on it very poor design and you would be guessing as to which one is bad unless you had a Volkswagen dealer level scan tool. Another reason I tell people not to buy those piles of junk
Thanks, I was able to replace it last night, It was a pain to get to under the car, tight space, had to remove the heat shield and take off both knock sensors, code & Light went out. I know you are not a fan of modern VWs, but it only cost me 5k & with 52k miles, have it for a year now. sensor went bad after recent snow storm here in NYC. Until the next problem, Thanks again!!!
