Hey Everyone,
I hailing all the way from Vancouver, BC Canada. I just recently watched one of Scotty's videos on replacing drum brakes which worked beautifully drove for about 3000 km no problems. I had my tires replaced and ever since then my brakes grind every time I brake at slow speeds. I went back to the tire shop and they say they are not certified mechanics and don't know. I have taken the tire off and know every time I rotate the drum it grinds periodically. I have checked the back plate and its not bent in at all.

I can't see the grinding being related to the tires. Maybe the lug nut torque is just different now. Try torquing them all to specification, making sure to go in a criss-cross pattern and see if it goes away. You can also trying slightly backing off the drum shoe adjuster. There could also just be brake dust or other debris trapped in there. Remove the drum and douse everything with brake cleaner.
Yea I latterly just did I took everything off sprayed it but the pin up but I have been hand tightening the wheels back on in cross pattern but I don't have a torque wrench. But again when i take the tire off and rotate the drums it grinds ?
