I recently purchased a 2012 Acura MDX which I have come to realize uses an electronic suspension. I have a comfort button near the console that as I understand is supposed to engage it. I feel no difference after pushing the button. Is it possible for me to replace the strut assembly myself? I have struggled to find a quick strut assembly that includes the electronic suspension components. They are all traditional strut assemblies. I know that you (Scotty Kilmer) have mentioned not being a fan of quick struts, but I'm not skilled or brave enough to mess with compressing a spring. I'm also nowhere close to being able to afford having the dealer do any work on it. I hope to hear from you, and appreciate you taking the time to read my question. God bless!

The dealership isn't the only place that fixes cars. Try getting a quote from some independent mechanics.

Luxury cars are expensive to maintain. Consider selling it and getting a Honda instead.
