Good afternoon I have a 2012 Cadillac CTS 3.0L engine 80,000 miles when I’m accelerating the and I hit 2,000 to 3,500 rpm I hear a rattle under the engine and I feel like I loose some power. It only stops when I give it more gas or let go of the gas. Please help it only happens sometimes.

does the malfunction light come on at all?
No lights on
Can you describe the "rattle" in better detail. Is it a squeak, metal on metal noise, or something else?

The rattle sounds metallic from under the engine . Checked for anything loose and everything is fine down there.
There is a good chance it is just valve noise but I would rule out the serpentine tensioner pulley and other simple maintenance items. Do you change your oil regularly?
Yes I change the oil every 2-3 thousand miles
