My 2012 Chevy Colorado with the 3.7 5 cylinder automatic starts and runs fine. However, every 10-12 starts it has no connection at all, not even a click. If I wait ten minutes, not five or eight or nine, it fires right back up and runs fine? Three shops deny it happens for them, but is consistently happening for me. Any thoughts on this one?
Thanks for what you do
Chuck

make sure battery cables are tight. Check the starter relay and your ignition switch.
Well here’s the deal. You say that it’s an intermittent issue. and that it will sometimes start then not work then work again. To me that sounds like a computer failure of some kind. I would verify proper operation of the ECM, such as inspecting wire harness and scanning for codes. I would also go on YouTube and watch Scotty’s video. How to fix computer problems in your car with spray cleaner. Scotty. Start there
