F350 losing power on highway

2012 f-350 6.7 powerstroke

Hi Scotty,

I purchased a 2012 F-350 approximately 3 weeks ago from an Autonation dealership. On Sunday I was on the highway near my house and the truck lost power and began running very poorly. It was purchased at Chrysler dealership and they advised me to have it towed to an Autonation Ford dealership. I also purchased a 40,000 or 48 month drivetrain warranty when I bought the truck. Autonation came back with an astronomical cost to repair of 6k. Stating it needs sensors and filters. In the 3 weeks I have had the truck I have only driven 674 miles. Autonation isn’t honoring their warranty to repair. I have no desire to keep due to the 6000 repair bill. and no way to pay for the repairs. The truck only has 71,000 miles on it. I wasn’t able to take it for an emission test. I haven’t been able to connect with the General Manager at the dealership and feel I’m being avoided by the salesman. If a diesel vehicle has plugged filters shouldn’t they have been replaced prior to the vehicle being put on the lot for sale?
I appreciate any suggestions you may have on how to resolve the mechanical issues.

codes that I pulled with my scanner were

p1247

P0471

P132b

thank you,

Troy

Just shows why you shouldn't buy a vehicle at AutoNation and waste money on a powertrain warranty that covers nothing they are scumbags obviously you might have to hire a lawyer on this one
