Best Practices to maximize CVT transmission life

So I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2021 Corolla with the CVT (and the 1.8L engine) and was wondering what are some "Best practices" to keeping CVTs in tip-top shape and making them last.  My biggest fear is that I've heard all the horror stories about CVTs failing for various reasons, even if the driver is dilligent in not beating their car up (ie. racing, or mashing down on the gas from a stop light).

Is there anything else I can do to keep a CVT in good shape other than the regular maintenance...?  People on other forums have said to replace the fluid every 50-60k or about every 4-5 years.

Hatchbacks had CVT issues. Others fine. Change fluid every 40K miles.

Change transmission fluid religiously.

They are somewhat weaker than automatic transmission and they need more maintenance.
