I have a 2012 f150 5.0 with 180k miles just replaced the water pump and after that It has been making a whining noise only when the heating or cooling is on

your blower motor is worn out

Where does the noise come from generally. If it's loudest inside the cab, and only when using the fan, it's the fan motor. If it's louder under the hood, & inside the engine bay, check the alternator drive.making a whining noise only
