I recently inherited a 2012 F150 King Ranch with 5L V8 and 4wd.  It has 71,000 miles on it.  I talked to Ford and they suggested that I update the SYNC 1 system prior to updating the maps.  They walked me through starting the update.  They said it should take about 35 minutes.  They then got off of the phone.  After 1.5 hours it did not finish.  I called ford.  The next lady I talked to told me to stop the instillation and said the First Lady did not know what she was talking about.

To make a long story shorter.  Now when I try to update the system it says it is in process but nothing happens.

It acts like it is now hung some where and will not proceed.  Any ideas how to stop the instillation and start fresh?
