I have a 2013 acura tl and just recently warning light came saying check power steering system my car has a electronic power steering module i replaced that same issues. Someone told me that the new module requires a scan tool to recalibrate it. Is this true cause im lost also replaced 70 amp eps fuse under the hood please help .
According to the 2012 repair manual for the TL, when the EPS module is replaced a torque sensor neutral position memorization procedure needs to be performed. (The 2013 charm.li manual lacks details on changing the steering module but 2012 is the same generation of that model.)
@chucktobias thank you very much also just found out 2013 are under warranty for 15 years milage is not important for the eletronic steering wheel module just encase anyone is wondering must have code present of 32-09 to fulfill at dealer .
@stacyledesma Good call on that extended warranty for the EPS module. They must have had a lot of problems with it that year.
