Hey Scotty,
I got a 2012 Ford Explorer from my in-laws and noticed the coolant is low. They put in a RED coolant. Everything recommends an Orange coolant for this type of car. They don’t remember what they used and I don’t want to mix. Any guess on what it could be so I can get the same kind?

Throughly flush out the old coolant and start fresh with the coolant stated in your owner's manual.
Your radiator cap may be slightly loose. Buy a new radiator cap if it's the original.
