I am just looking for people's general thoughts on a 2012 Ford Explorer. The good, the bad, the ugly. Would you purchase one?

The main issue for Explorers is the automatic transmission. This particular model year has engine issues as well, I would pass unless your mechanic gives you green light and you get it dirt cheap.
