I have a P0420 error code. Already had CAT replaced (which now the vehicle sounds worse), checked to see if coil ignition switches were bad (still good). Can't figure out what's wrong. Any advice anyone?

Are you sure the CAT was bad, if so how was it diagnosed.
P420 doesn’t necessarily mean the CAT is bad.
Gonna need a scanner to look at some data, ie: 02 sensors, MAF, etc.
You might want to pressure test the CAT as well.....
