I bought a 2007 Pontiac G6 2.4 Sedan with the LE5 engine, 155,000 miles, and it runs and drives like when it was new. i’ve replaced vvt solenoids, serpentine belt tensioner, camshaft sensor. It had code p0420 but used cataclean and the code has been gone for a month now, the longest it’s stayed off. I sometimes hear a rattle on cold startup, and a noise when i get higher in the rpm’s. there’s no carbon buildup, almost perfect fuel trim. did i make a good purchase for $6,000?

No, I would not have bought that vehicle with that mileage. On this forum, like Scotty, we will always be honest with you: that was a bad decision especially if it’s your daily.
