Pontiac Vibe Cranks Won't Start/ Low Compression

05 Pontiac Vibe FWD Base 260k Auto

Lost all power while driving, dash board was still lit up but no acceleration - oil & battery light illuminated

will crank but no spark, throwing codes P0351, P0352, P0353, P0354

compression test cyl1 105 psi cyl2 110 psi cyl3 65 psi cyl4 70 psi

Is there anything I can try before resorting to an engine swap?

The compression is low but it should be sufficient for the engine to at least start - and run poorly. For the starting problem check out the troubleshooting section of the site FAQ.

As far as the low compression, you might do a wet/dry compression test or leakdown test to see where the compression is going. If it's leaky valves you could consider reconditioning the cylinder head or trying a good used one with low mileage. (That's assuming you would do the work yourself. It would cost more than a high-mileage 20-year-old Vibe is worth to pay a mechanic to do it.)
