I just really need some advise in finding a good mechanic in NY . I’m a female and I have been trying different mechanics for about a year and it seems they may over charge me or don’t do a good job.
One mechanic I took my 2013 jeep compass to fix the check engine light issue…All of a sudden my passenger headrest came apart. Another mechanic I took my jeep to fix weird noise on my back tire (driver side)and now the tire sensor comes on and won’t go away. More currently Im hearing very loud rattling noise under the hood when I turn on the Ac and the heat and lastly, when I recently got an oil change whenever I drive on the highway the engine just sounds super loud it never did before. I don’t know what to do please .. any advice? I would really appreciate it please… blessings
You did not say where you are in New York. There are a couple of NY mechanic referrals in the FAQ.
Unfortunately modern Jeeps are not very reliable and you can expect continuing problems. When possible you might want to consider replacing it with something better.
