[Solved] Catalytic Converter Cleaner a scam?

Topic starter

On Youtube, I was fed an ad apparently featuring Scotty pushing a catalytic converter cleaner (peonyshop.com) but while I have consumed hundreds of hours of Scotty's videos, I've never heard him feature a product for this purpose and I don't find anything searching this forum about such a product.  The voice seemed to be Scotty's but talking faster with just a hair difference in pitch (which might be from speeding it up). Anyway, I know that he's had plenty of problems with people faking an endorsement by him and I wanted to follow up here as my vehicle is probably a candidate for a borderline catalytic converter.  2012 Ram 2500 SLT Auto 2wd w/5.7l - Former commercial vehicle w/inverter from New Mexico so a fair ton of engine hours spent idling in high heat.  (107k miles @ 9800 engine hours)

It's AI fakery to cash in on his popularity. Nothing new.

Scotty talked about it in a video recently. If any likeness of him is not on the official YT channel ( https://www.youtube.com/ @scottykilmer) then it's not him. Simple.

And yes, the cleaner is snake oil.

the diagnostic system will tell you when it's no longer doing its job

to my knowledge idling has no special effect on the cat.con.
