Hello, I'm thinking about getting a 2012 Ford Focus 4 door SEL. 2.0L 78,000 miles. auto trans. Is this an ok vehicle I know it had a GDI system. I never really read anything bad about them. And I know a lot of companies use them for Fleet vehicles. Just looking for an honest opinion. Price is $10,000
They go for $3000 on craigslist with 90k miles. $10k is absurd. The transmissions on those are terrible as well.
Don't buy a 2012 Focus - most trouble-prone year, for a not particularly reliable car.

Don’t waste your time with that car plz my mother uses a 2017 focus and it’s been to the shop many times and it runs like crap compared to my 2017 Corolla with both around the same millage mine runs way better and feels so much more refined and they both have around 150k miles
Don’t get a Focus. My friend had a 2012 Focus and that thing kept falling apart until he finally traded it for a 2017 Toyota iM, which is basically a Corolla hatchback and it’s much better
No, don't even think about it. Look up the Ford "PowerShift" lawsuit. Those cars are bad and there is no way to fix them.
