Hello Scotty! I really like your videos and I've learned alot from them and I have a question: I Drive a 2015 Toyota Corolla GLI (1.6/132hp) (I live in the Middle East) with nearly 61,000 miles and I recieved it with 48,200 miles on it, the transmission fluid has never been replaced and I'm thinking of replacing it but I'm afraid to cause any damage. What would you recommend?

If it's a manual, there's no problem changing the transmission fluid. Use the fluid listed in the owners manual.

If it's automatic transmission then watch the video

Although the video does help, I'm still not sure about the status of the oil inside the transmission. (Automatic, CVT)

As in, if it has never been replaced, could it be too late for it now?
Is there ANY risk in changing the fluid at this point? I must mention that the transmission works perfectly fine at this point.

A proper, competent transmission fluid drain and fill, with the correct fluid, will never hurt a transmission. Here's an analogy: Let's say you haven't brushed your teeth for a month. Does that mean you should never, ever brush your teeth again?

Every machine needs proper care and maintenance. You can either do reasonable preventive maintenance or run-to-fail.

The primary reason to do preventive maintenance is simple: In the long run, it's cheaper.
