I have a 2012 Ford Fusion SE, 4 Plugs, it has 42k Miles on the odometer, I recently added Lucas Injector Cleaner and the check engine light came on since then, i thought it would go away at second full tank refill, but it still came back on, even at 3rd and 4th refill. it failed to go away, i have scan with a scan tool " it shows the fuel system is running too lean". i did clear the fault codes, but still the Check engine light always come back on.
any ideas how to resolve this issue.
What's the code?
Running lean could be a few things, usually an air leak letting in unmetered air into the engine, but since you put stuff in the tank and now you have a fuel system lean code. I'd change the fuel filter and see if the condition continues.
