We have a 2012 Ford Fusion with 145k. It’s losing tranny fluid and 1st gear clunks and over all just doesn’t shift right. We’ve been trying to get rid of it and get a Toyota or Chrysler van. (We are low on money). But is there anything we can do to maybe get a little more life out of the tranny. Would the Lucas help?

I would add 1 quarter of Lucas anti slip transmission fluid and fill it up with ATF.

I agree with yaser, you’re on borrowed time now. After you put the Lucas is REALLY baby that thing and hope you can get a few more miles out of it. Also, I know you said money is tight but unless you want to dump more money into something stay away from any FCA (Fiat/Chrysler) made product for long term use.
