Is a 2012 ford fusion 4 cylinder good car to buy

They are decent cars. Not great, not bad. You could use the search bar up at the top right and through what members on the forum experienced and through in depth research (which I had to do because everyone is asking about Fusions multiple times a week), you find that they had 2 flaws:
1. the transmission
2. the power steering failing
Both cost thousands of dollars to repair, so you would definitely want a mechanic to check it out and make sure its in good shape.
Mechanics on YT including Scotty (watch his 5 best used cars video, can be reached with the video compilation hyperlink below) and Car Wizard (linked above by Day Walker) seem to have a positive view on it.
If you are paying any serious money for it ($5k $6k +) then I would look into a Toyota or Honda. You might be able to get a good deal on it and in which case I might consider it on a case by case base.
