I recently bought a 2012 Honda Civic with roughly 110,000 miles on the odometer. Not sure of the fluid change history. Should I go ahead and change the automatic transmission fluid with it at 110,000 or is that too many miles to do a transmission fluid change. Will changing it at 110,000 cause the transmission to start slipping?

yes, transmissions last more than 100k.
If you want it to keep working you should maintain it.
