2012 Hyundai sonata limited 2.4L 175,000 miles
The car jerks, hesitates, hipcups, (not sure what word to use to describe what happens), while driving sometimes the engine light comes on but doesn't stay on, and one time it went into limbo mode, it seems there are many reason for this. What could be wrong with the car, why does it hesitate, jerk, hipcup???

Many things might be wrong with the car. Obviously you can check the usual suspects. (Spark plugs, filters, fuel pressure) and try cleaning the MAF sensor and throttle body. Also if you perform a diagnostic scan for codes and live data it might come up with some clues.
