I have a 2012 Ford Mustang GT with 46,150 miles on it. Today I noticed my Vanity mirror lights were not working. It's the lights that is part of the sun visor. I checked the fuse which it uses a 10 amp one and found that the fuse was tripped. So I replaced the fuse and as soon as I put in new one, it immediately pop again and again so on. I don't have any aftermarket electronics installed in my car either. I'm not sure what it can be and I'm stumped. Has anyone had this issue before and how was it fixed? Oh also the same fuse is what also powers the trunk light which isn't turning on either. Thank you in advance for your help.
You need to trace the wiring out from the sun visors to find the short circuit. The wiring that flexes with motion of the visors would be a prime suspect.
Thank you for your response. I will definitely check that out.
