I am looking for a small decent car and came across a 2012 Scion xB online. It is being sold by a person. It has 172,000 miles on it and I've offered to pay $3,000. Originally the seller was selling for $3,800. Would this be a good buy considering it's mileage and car age?

It's a little pricy for that car I would go for something like a Toyota Corolla it will probably be more reliable.

Ok so the Scion XB is a reliable practical car you would want a mechanic to check it out and make sure it doesn't burn oil but that issue was mostly fixed in 2010. I'd pay $2500 max.
